Hey Ben, thanks for dropping by! Louis Sachar was quite prolific in the early to mid 90s, though Holes is without question his best piece. He first grew to popular with his book "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom" and his "Sideways Stories from Wayside School." The latter is part of a series of quirky and funny stories. Definitely worth a read if you haven't read them yet.
